Intestinal - Fish

Composition: fish 50% (salmon 100%), rice 2%, vegetable oils and fats (Elaeis guineensis), minerals (of which potassium salts derived from organic acids 0.05%), dehydrated yeast (Bio MOS), products obtained from the processing of herbs (Dog-rose 0.160 %), plantain seeds (Plantago psyllium mucilagini 1%) 0.1%.

Additives (per kg): Nutritional additives: vitamin E 6.7 mg, vitamin B1 3.3 mg, vitamin B6 0.8 mg, vitamin H (Biotin) 0.04 mg, folic acid 0.01 mg, zinc sulphate, monohydrate 10.9 mg (Zn 3.9 mg), manganous sulphate, monohydrate 4.9 mg (Mn 1.6 mg), potassium iodide 0.28 mg (I 0.2 mg), copper(II) sulphate pentahydrate 0.7 mg (Cu 0.18 mg). Flavour and aroma enhancers: natural products (botanical names): Origanum vulgare 2000 mg, Castanea sativa 406 mg. Intestinal flora stabilizers: microorganisms (E 1707 Enterococcus faecium DSM 10663-NCIMB 10415 3.5×10^9 CFU) 200 mg.

Analytical constituents: moisture 80.0%, crude protein 7.5%, crude fats 6.5%, crude fibres 0.1%, crude ash 1.9%, Na 0.16%, K 0.18%, Omega-3 1.3%, Omega-6 1.4%.

Metabolisable Energy: 955 kcal/kg – 4.0 MJ/kg.

Particular nutritional purpose: a) Reduction of intestinal absorptive disorders b) compensation for maldigestion; exocrine pancreatic insufficiency c) reduction of ingredient and nutrient intolerances.

Essential nutritional characteristics: a) highly digestible feed with increased sodium and potassium b) highly digestible ingredients c) use of carefully selected sources of protein and carbohydrates (fish and rice with a high biological value).

Recommended length of time: a) up to 12 weeks b) initially up to 12 weeks and lifetime in the case of chronic pancreatic Insufficiency c) 3 to 8 weeks. If signs of intolerance disappear this feed can be used initially up to one year. It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use and before extending the period of use.
